About Frøya Arena
Frøya Arena was completed in the summer of 2016. Since then, the arena has welcomed thousands of children and youth, while hosting both large and small events.
The hall is equipped with a parquet floor, 10 basketball hoops, three large screens, four scoreboards, five locker rooms (with attached toilets), seven additional toilets, two dance studios, a kiosk, and a banquet hall with a view of the football field. In addition, it features two full-size FIBA courts and one mini court that can all be used simultaneously. This provides us with extensive training space and opportunities for hosting major events.
So far, we have hosted several Region West Playoffs, Norwegian Championships for U19 girls and boys, the BLNO final, and two national team games. And there’s more to come!
This incredible facility was a gift from our outstanding supporter, Trond Mohn. Trond Mohn has invested over one billion NOK into sports across the country. His contributions have given countless children safe environments for play and sports. That is exactly what we want Frøya Arena to be.
