Play – Fun – Getting Used to the Ball
Nanobasket is a brand-new concept in Norway. It’s a great mix of basketball, play, and motor skills exercises. Altogether, it’s a fun and educational experience for the youngest children. Play and fun are the main focus, creating an enjoyable activity for everyone. We have baskets specially designed for young children that can be adjusted so everyone can play at their own level.
Training Schedule:
- Children born in 2020–2021: Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:00 at Frøya Arena
- Children born in 2018–2019: Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:00 and Wednesdays from 17:00 to 18:00, both at Frøya Arena
Start Date: Saturday, September 2
We welcome girls and boys aged 3–7 to play NANOBASKET. The sessions will mainly consist of playful activities and getting familiar with the ball. It’s highly recommended that children wear indoor shoes and regular sports clothing. Please bring a water bottle.

Existing members of Frøya Basket should send an email to baard@froyabasket.com
(mailto:baard@froyabasket.com) to register for the 2024/25 Nanobasket season. Each group has space for up to 25 participants.
Fees:
- Club membership fee: NOK 50
(Invoiced upon joining and then annually in January) - Training fee: NOK 800 per season
(Split into two payments of NOK 400 – invoiced in September and February)
What’s Included?
Each participant receives one weekly training session throughout the season, running from August 31 until Easter 2025. Everyone who has paid the membership and training fees will receive a basketball and a Frøya Basket t-shirt.
Participants become members of Frøya Basket, are insured through the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s children’s sports insurance, and receive free entry to Frøya Basket’s home games in the BLNO.
