Dr. Dish machine
In the summer of 2020, Frøya Basket purchased the shooting machine, Dr. Dish. This machine significantly improves the efficiency of shooting practice.
Dr. Dish features an adjustable net that catches the ball after each shot attempt. The balls then roll down into a spring-loaded system that passes the ball back to a selected position. Dr. Dish can pass the ball to nine different positions with five different passing speeds. The machine can also track the number of shots taken, the number of successful shots, shooting percentage, and adjust the time between passes.
Dr. Dish was a major investment for the club. Therefore, we prefer that it is primarily used by our elite athletes.
